Kindness

Love Yesterday,

Today,

We live is a world where so many things are done fast and quick.  There is fast food, fast DSL internet, instant messaging, express shipping, "get it quick" this, and "one minute" that. We get so used to getting things fast that we have no patience for things that truly take time to complete or receive.  And with this lack of patience, comes frustration, anger and other negative emotions.  Drivers blow the horn, yell and use choice words at other drivers who are not moving fast enough.  Negative body language is expressed by those who have to wait in line for service.  Yelling may take place if a loved one takes longer than anticipated to get dressed.  Where is the kindness in all of these actions?  There is none. 

Love is patient and love kind.  Love demonstrates kindness in its actions and reactions.  It demonstrates kindness during easy times and difficult times.  Love does not anger easily.  Love does not get frustrated.  Love understands.  It is a demonstration of good, charitable behavior.  Love and kindness are positive, virtuous character traits.  When you love, you demonstrate kindness in what you say, how you say it, what you do and how you do it.  Love always.  Love daily.  365 love.

Reflect on how you demonstrate kindness and love in your actions and reactions.  Think about how your kindness or lack of represents a human characteristic that is still a work in progress.
