I was blessed with the opportunity to babysit my grandson this past weekend. He's three and a half months old and a bundle of joy. As of that moment, I was officially dubbed, "Grandma T." And while my days are consistently filled with happiness, the days spent with my grandson this past weekend will forever be remembered as some of my better days. When he smiled, it appeared as if the room lit up. When he laughed, the sun seemed to shine that much brighter. When he slept, I felt as if angels were watching over him. What an amazing gift from God. As I watched him and his innocence, I began to look forward to sharing even more of those "better days" with him.
I look forward to watching him grow. I look forward to seeing him running around exploring new things. I look forward to reading to him, helping him learn his ABC's, colors and first words, and answering the same question over and over again - "Why?" I look forward to sharing experiences of the past and lessons learned to bring about better days for him. Most importantly, I look forward to sharing love with him. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love.
