A relationship is a connection between two or more people (or things). I can think of a number of relationships I've experienced. This includes relationships with friends, family and coworkers. Some were personal and others were strictly business. Some were for short periods of time and others were longer. Some still exist today. I have trusted people in relationships who have been consistent in character. Then there are those who revealed that they cannot be trusted at all.
I often hear of people longing for relationships with others. Some desire friendship. Some desire intimacy and romance. Some just want to belong and be a part of a group or organization. Some of these relationships are good. Others are bad experiences that provide lessons learned. Some are for a reason, season or a lifetime. God did not put us here to be alone. So it is natural to want to establish some type of relationship. However, some people strive so hard to be in a relationship with another person that they forget about the ultimate relationship. The ultimate relationship provides the foundation for building successful relationships with others. When you establish a connection with the ultimate relationship, you will find that being in the right relationships become more of the norm. Those relationships are more fulfilling and support your personal growth in a positive way. They are more charitable and unselfish. The ultimate relationship is God. The ultimate relationship is love. When you find love in the ultimate relationship, you will be able to find love in yourself and others. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM
