Your Best Days Yet

Where were you yesterday? What did you do today? How are you feeling? What does your heart desire? Several questions have been asked. What are your answers? Whether your responses are positive, indifferent, or negative, you are still living your life. You are still writing your story. Today is not over and tomorrow is coming.  If you think you have it bad now, it gets better. If you think you have it good now, it gets better.  It’s not over. A new chapter is just beginning an another will come after that one. You haven’t seen your best days yet. As you grow in love and allow love to enter your life and be a part of your daily actions, great things happen.  The worst improves, the best gets better, and your best days are yet to come. They are something to look forward to.  So be excited about what is to come.  Love has lots of gifts in store for you.  Those gifts are with you every day.  Some are realized and some are not.  But, with love your eyes are opened to a new view and the possibilities are limitless. Your best days include those possibilities. Your best days yet are filled with love. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

The Answer

One way to assess a person’s comprehension of something they have learned is through testing. If you can respond correctly to a series of questions or tasks about a specific subject matter with some level of proficiency, you have successfully passed the test. Most are designed for you to do on your own; independently.   The test may be paper-based, online, a hands-on demonstration or verbal.  Regardless, you are doing something to demonstrate if you know the answer to the questions and/or tasks at hand.  The answer key provides the correct answers to each question and is used by the grader to help determine which responses are right or wrong.  There are times when instructors allow open book tests.  The answers are in the book. All you have to do is to search for them.  The more familiar you are with the information in the book, the quicker and easier it is to find the answer.

Life is full of experiences that are like taking tests.  For every situation we experience and every question we could possibly ask about those experiences, there is a book with all of the answers in it. We have the ability to use that book, like an open book test. The instructor has given us permission to do so. However, we often forget about it or don’t know enough about it to use it.  The more we read and gain knowledge about the book, the more we realize its value and how resourceful it is.  It becomes easier and easier for us to find the answers.  This book is not just any book.  It is ”the” book. This book is the Bible; the ultimate book of love. Get to know it.  Find out more about it.  Realize how valuable it is to your personal growth in love.  It has all the answers you need for anything and everything.  It is of love, from love.  Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

It’s Working

Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall are the four seasons which divide up the year.  Each brings forth different weather conditions that are a result of the Earth’s revolution around the sun.  Those weather conditions have a different impact on life – humans, animals and plants.  The seasons change based on the amount of sunlight that reaches the Earth’s surface.  As such, the seasons come in an exact order with each having its own purpose and impact.

We travel along our personal journey in life like the seasons.  Our seasons may be defined by a change in age, spiritual growth, education level, career or relationships with others.  They change as we reach different milestones in our lives.  Each season brings new people in and out of our lives.  Some are there for a reason.  Some are there for the season.  And others will be there for a lifetime.  Whatever season you are in at this specific moment is meant for you. It’s working just for you.  It’s working to fulfill a purpose.  Your life is designed to be as is, at each moment within each season. It’s working to move you closer to love. The seeds are being planted and nourished for personal growth.  And you are growing each and every day.  You may not always realize it, but each day of each season brings you closer to love. Your seasons change, like the Earth revolving around the sun, based on the love that surrounds you and is a part of you. You have changed and will continue to change as your seasons change.  Love will continue to bring about a different purpose and meaning for your life during each new season. And whatever you go through during your season of change, it is a testimony that it’s working. Love is working through it all. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

A Rose

There is more to love than words just for the sake of “saying something” or material items just for the sake of “giving something”. Love is about meaning.  It is about doing or saying things when it is appropriate to do so.  It is about not saying or doing things when it is appropriate to do so.  It is about giving not just what you like or need, but giving to others based on their likes and needs.  I often hear people discussing things that have changed in their relationships.  Most times those things are simple things.  And most times there has been discussion about what those things are.  Yet no action had taken place in response for whatever the reason.  Sometimes the person accountable for responding does not take the discussion seriously or doesn’t think it’s a big deal.  They my even place a greater value on other things they “feel” they do that should compensate.  Sometimes they don’t respond because they are retaliating, looking for something done in return or have their own personal expectation or void.  Love is about giving the other person what they need in the relationship. It is about listening, communicating and responding to one another.  It is about taking action in support of a positive reaction; a resolution.   And it goes both ways.  You can’t do it all by yourself.  However, you can make a choice to do your part.  No one request is of greater or lesser value than the other.   This is applicable for all types of relationships – romantic, friendships, and family.   Sometimes it’s a simple thing that makes the difference like saying, “Good morning” or “You’re beautiful”, a kiss on the cheek, a greeting card, saying, “Thank you” or “I appreciate you”, apologizing, handling a simple chore, holding hands, or cooking dinner, just to name a few.  It can be as simple as giving a rose.  Act and respond.  Don’t take love for granted. Love takes action. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

Bravo

Congratulations!  Bravo!  You did it.  You made it through. And look at you now. Yesterday has come and gone.  Today is a new day and future tomorrows are something to look forward to.  What happened in the past is in the past.  Now you can move forward.  You can move ahead.  Take the first step and then the next; then move again.

I am proud of you and you should be too.  You accept yourself for who you are.  You realize your own personal beauty.  You feel good about yourself.  You know your value.  You have high self-esteem.  You are confident.  You have character and acknowledge that you are meant for greatness.  You realize that your contribution is life, no matter how big or small, is a significant contribution.  You make a difference.  You are important. In the Midst of it All

So, you are going through something. You are hurting, struggling, unhappy, in pain, troubled, disheartened. You’ve been lied on, abused, mistreated, cheated on, and then some.  Welcome to life. You have not experienced anything that someone else has not experienced. But, it does not have to be this way. It does not have to remain this way. For all that has not been desirable in your life. There is so much more to be desired. There is so much more in life to appreciate and love.  There is a mindset that helps you to realize that the glass is half full.  You can see the positive side of anything with love. And everything becomes a lesson learned. You are put in these situations to learn something from them. You are the teacher or the learner. You are the instructor or the student. You are the “impacter” or the impacted in any and all situations. But, in the midst of it all, love will help you to make it through. It will help you get over it.  It will help you to hold on or let go of it. Love will help you to help yourself and others. This is not the end of your story, it is one chapter of many to come and the pages are still being written. For everything that you have gone through, are going through, or will go through, in the midst of it all, love is with you. Love will take care of you. Love never fails. Have faith, believe, and it is so. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

Cry Your Last Tear

I am here for you. While you may feel that I am not present, that I am not available, I am here. I am right before you. I never left you. Open your heart and your eyes to receive me. Place your head on my shoulders and go ahead and cry your last tear. Release all of the tears you need. Let them fall. For I have great power.  I can do great things.  I can heal your heart and make you whole. I will give you what you need when you need it most to move on. It’s ok. Go ahead. Do it now. Cry your last tear.  Once I touch you, you will have no need to shed these type of tears again.  If you have faith and believe in me, there will not be a need again.  I will take care of you. I will protect you. When you cry you last tear I will wipe it away, place my hand on your heart and watch you smile.  For there is joy in knowing me. There is peace and hope if acknowledging me. There is happiness in including me in your life.  I am love.  And with me, you can cry your last tear for the last time. I have everything under control. It is already taken care of. Love always. Shine

Light provides us with the ability to see.  It brightens the darkness.  It brings warmth from the cold.  It glows and is visible.  It shines and sparkles.   It does not speak or talk back.  It exists and we reap the benefits of its presence. We see it without the need for extra effort on its part.  When know when it is present.

We are born to love.  Like the flower needs light from the sun to shine on it for nourishment, people need love to shine in their lives to grow.  That growth is the direction for fulfilling their purpose in life.  Love shines.  It is contagious and brings about positive change.  When you have it, see it, share it or receive it, there was not a lot of effort that had to be put into it.  Love shines through a smile, a friendly hello or a hug.  Love shines from caring, sharing or lending a helping hand.  Love shines from choosing to do the right things for the right reasons at the right time.  Love shines from a spiritual relationship with God.  It is natural. It is a gift.  The effort is minimal.  However, the rewards are great.  Let your light shine all that you do.  Let love shine through the light in you. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

As Long As You Love Me

I love you.  And I need you to love me too.  No one else is as important to me as you. Outside of God, you come first in my life and then everyone else comes after that.  I will take care of you and your well-being.  I will ensure that your basics needs are taken care of.  And when they are not, I will do what is necessary to ensure that those needs are addressed.  We can work together to grow spiritually in our understanding of Godly love.   I will do all of these things to demonstrate that I love you.

If I can’t take care of you, how can I take care of someone else?  If I don’t demonstrate that I know how to love you, how can I demonstrate love to someone else? Proving my love to you is the completion of a great milestone.  Knowing how much I love you, fills me with peace. I am happy and full of joy.  I have learned to be happy if I am alone, yet am better prepared for others who enter my life. I understand who I am and can better determine who should be in my life and who should be removed from my life.  As long as you love me, everything will fall into place. Your love will help me to better relate to others.  Your love will allow me to be charitable to others.  And proving my love for you will assure that I am ready. There is no situation, big or small, that we cannot make it through with love by our side. So, before I move forward I need your confirmation.  Me, do you love me?  Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. You Mean That Much To Me

I love you. I mean that with all of my heart and soul.  I would do anything for you, because you mean that much to me.  I have known you for all of your life. I have seen you happy and sad.  I have seen you laugh and cry.  When you were sick, I provided care for you.  When you had a need, I tried my best to provide it for you.  Sometimes I may have given more than was needed.  I have watched you grow and have been there with you and for you as much as I possibly could be.  I supported things you were interested in.  I encouraged you to be the best that you could be.  As our relationship grew, we experienced both good and bad times.  We communicated with one another as best as we knew how with both positive and not so positive outcomes.  As time passed, our relationship changed.  There were times when we grew apart.  But, love always kept us connected and brought us back together.  I may not have always made the best decisions, but I always made decisions based on what I thought was best.   There were times when I had to let go to let you grow, because you mean that much to me.  At no time did I ever love you any less.  You may not have understood and may never understand, but in my heart it was the right thing to do. All that I do and don’t do for you are meant to help you, not to hurt you.  Life is about learning, and learning takes place in life.  I love you enough to let you live yours, but love you more than enough to give you advice on what is right.  No matter what I say or what I do, always remember and never forget that I do and will always love you.  This is a fact and will always be, because you mean that much to me.  Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

Be Happy

I woke up this morning, looked in the mirror and smiled. I smiled because I had so much to be happy about.  My eyes, nose and ears are positioned perfectly on my face.  The scratch above my eyelid is there for a reason.  The pimple that left a dark scar on my face is there on purpose. My hips and thighs are just the right size.  My foot with the scar underneath the big toe is just right.  My birth mark is in just the right place.  My walk and the way I talk – just right.  None of this was a mistake or an error.  I was uniquely designed, as is, for a purpose.  I am not meant to look like, act like, sound like, or be like anyone else.  Just thinking about that was something to be happy about

As I walked away from the mirror, I smiled again.  I smiled because today was a new day and I had something to be excited about. I had something to be happy about – food, clothing and shelter; a career, family and friends; my health, a sound mind and the ability to make decisions about what I do.  All that I have and don’t have was something to be happy about.  Love was in the air and all around me. I looked forward to absorbing all that it had to offer. I was alive and had breath inside of me.  I had another chance to do something great today. And I did.  That was definitely something to be happy about. And at various times throughout the day, I would note my appreciation and humbly say, “Thank You, Lord!” Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

What is Love?

What is love?
Love is the ability to see, feel, hear, smell and touch;
The reality of knowing that what I have is more than enough.
Love is a walk in the park, a bird in the sky;
Having strong faith and understanding without questioning why.
Love is the morning dew covering the green on the grass;
Having grown from the lessons learned from the past.
Love is a kiss from Grandma and an ice-cream cone;
Knowing that even when no one is there, you are never alone.
Love is a gift, unwrapped and full of surprises;
The stars in the sky at night and the sun as it rises.
Love is the happiness and laughter that comes from a child;
The joy they bring that makes motherhood worthwhile.
Love is family – mother, father, sister, aunt, uncle and brother;
Chartable acts of kindness we share with one another.
Love is you me, her, him and she;
Everything good, everything right, everything that is meant to be.
Love is knowing that each day brings about something new;
Having positive, uplifting people in my life like you, you and you.
Love is a path, a destination, a journey, a place;
A purpose in life, the smile on your face.
Love is your job, your home, your talents and your life;
Your walk and your talk, your worth and your sight.
Love is reaching down and helping someone grow;
Giving of your time and gifts, sharing what you know.
Love is waking up in the morning seeing the sun shine;
Rising to my feet with a sense of gratitude for being alive.
Love is experiences that come with each and every season;
Knowing that everything in your life takes place for a reason.
What is love? Love is… Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

It’s Not Over

You are being used. Not in the way you may think. You are being used for love.  You are being used to grow in love. You are being used to make a difference in your life and the life of others for love. Whether your situation is good or bad, you are being used and will continue to be used.  Love uses us to spread love. Love uses  us to bring about positive change.  Love uses our own personal life experiences to help us grow in love.  You have a life to touch.  Every person who comes into your life for a reason, season or a lifetime is destined to do so at that specific moment in time. And it’s not over. When you think you have done all that you can do, there is more to do. It’s not over.  When you have overcome from one of the lowest points in your life, there will be new situations to make you stronger in new areas.  And it’s still not over. At any given time, you will be entering a storm, in the middle of a storm or just leaving out of a storm.  You may even be a part of someone else’s storm. But, it’s not over. You have a story to tell.  You have a testimony to give.  You have lives to touch.  Your words, your interactions and your actions are all a part of love’s master plan.  And until you breathe your very last breath, it’s not over.  Love keeps on loving.  Love will continue to use you and others to fulfill a purpose. And when and if you feel that love is not in your plan, love with lift you up and confirm its purpose. Love reigns every time. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

Lovin’ Me

I am so thankful for the love God has for me. I know what I have done and have not done.  I know when I have tried hard and when I have not.  I know when I have been humble and when I have not.  I know when I have made good choices and when I have not.  I know when I have done good things and when I have not.  And through everything I have and have not done, God keeps lovin’ me.  Love keeps lovin’ me.  When no one else is aware, when no one else is around, and when no one else cares, love always has and always will keep lovin’ me.  My heart is filled with the spirit just by knowing how incredible love is.  Love just keeps on loving, on and on and on.  Through anything and everything, love keeps on lovin’ me.  Me! Out of all that it is capable of doing and everyone it is capable of loving, love keeps lovin’ me unselfishly.   Love loves you too. Love loves everyone.  Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

A Couple of Forevers

A couple is defined as a pair – a set,  two,  more than one, double. And forever is a very long time.  It is never ending.  If a couple is greater than one and forever is never ending, a couple of forevers goes two times beyond that.  It is twice as much, twice as long.  One thing about love is that it is everlasting.  It is always existent. I can’t get enough of it, but have just what I need from it.  I wouldn’t mind getting a couple of forevers out of it; not just for me, but for everyone.  If people could be touched by it twice as much for twice and long, it would make twice the difference.  A couple of forevers would go a long way in spreading love.  It would be double contagious. Practicing it would be twice the improvement.  Sharing it would go twice as far.  Love great.  Love plentiful. Love long. Love for a couple of forevers. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

New Day

Today is a new day. What happened yesterday is in the past. It should be used as a reflection of what was and encouragement for what is yet to be. This new day is filled with new experiences and new choices.  It is another chance to make a difference.  This new day is going to be one of the best days of my life.  It can and will be, because it is one more day to live.  It is one more day to learn.  It is one more day to grow.  It is one more day to love.  I am happy and joyful about it.

There are benefits associated with having something new.  You are the first to experience it.  It has never been opened or used before.  It is fresh.  It sometimes allows you the ability add your own personal customizations to it.  It may not have existed before.  It is clean. It has no marks or undesirable scratches on it.  It may have been made, introduced or discovered recently.

As with anything new, I am excited about this new day.  I am excited about the new people I will have an opportunity to meet.  I am excited about the places I will go and new experiences I will have.  I am excited about the beauty that the day will bring.  I am excited for all the love that will continue to spread and grow in it.  I am excited about the lives that will be touched by the path I will take.  I am excited about the sharing and caring that will take place.  This new day has so much to look forward to.  I am excited about all that I can do with this day.  I can personalize this new day just for me or I can include someone else.  I can discover new things.  It is a clean slate designed for me to do as I wish to do.  It can be filled with my choices.  This new day is definitely something to be excited about.  Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM
