Get It Together

Get it together!  Not tomorrow or the day after that.  Do it now.  Do it today.

Get it together! Lift your head up. Praise God and be thankful for everything.

Get it together!  Life is too precious to waste.  There is so much to do and so much to look forward to.

Get it together! Stop sitting around waiting for something to happen for you. Get out there and make it happen.

Get it together! Stop blaming others for your personal choices. Make a change, take accountability and choose a better life for you.

Get it together! Stop being selfish and thinking about you and only you. Life is about more than just you.

Get it together! Let go of the past and move on to the present for a better future. Forgive in order to live.

Get it together! Stop hating, being angry and holding grudges. Be patient, kind and charitable.  Be more loving.

Get it together! Love more abundantly. Love God, love yourself, love others and love life.

Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

Give Me Your Love

I don’t consider myself to be a greedy or needy person. But, if you are not ready for love, don’t desire love, are done with love or have fallen out of love, give me your love.  I’ll take it.  I’ll gladly take it. I will put it in a good place and will take good care of it.  Give me your love and I will invest in it.  I will place it in a diversified portfolio.  I will allow it to gain interest.  I will hold onto it until you are ready for it.  I will keep in safe from harm.  I will plant it and watch it grow.  I will nourish it spiritually. I will give it smiles, laughter, fun, good times, and positive thoughts.  Give me your love and I will allow God to use me to make a difference to you.  Give me your love while God continues to show love to you and grow love in you.  It will be here waiting for you and only you.  No one will have the authority to use it or abuse it. No one can steal it, no one can kill it, and no one can take it away.  It can only be used by you.  It can only be shared by you.  Give me your love until love is ready for you.

And when it is time, I will return it to you. I will return it to you after you have experienced more of life, after you have grown, and after you have been through your ups and down.  I will return it to you when you know how to appreciate it and when you value its worth.  I will return it to you after you learn how to invest in it yourself.  I will return it to you when you appreciate it.  I will return it to you when you realize how abundant and plentiful it is and are willing and able to share it with others.  I will return it on the day you make a new choice to love.  Time, life and choices will make the difference. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

Morning Dance

I love music. It starts my day, is with me at various times throughout the day, and ends my evening.  I woke up this morning and went through my usual routine.  I pulled up some music on my iPod and hit the Shuffle button, visited the closet for clothes, then moved on to the bathroom for hygiene.  All of a sudden, my husband grabbed me, pulled me close, held me tight, and gave me a morning dance.  He made sure I was aware that our morning dance was to one of his favorite songs. As we danced, he sang in my ear with a whispering tone.  He kissed my cheeks.  He caressed my face and then some.  We danced and we danced, through the entire song - slowly, romantically, lovingly, in love. We had sweet laughter, sweet silence, sweet whispers and sweet love. As we finished our morning dance he kissed me, told me he loved me and wished me a good day.  I responded the same and smiled.  Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

Tears of Joy

Tears are secretions that clean and lubricate the eye.  An increased production of tears is often triggered by strong intense emotions.  Such emotions include sadness, grief, anger, remorse, happiness, or laughter.  I have had my share of tears over the years – good and bad.  However, over the past few years, I have noticed that my tears have transitioned into something consistently beautiful, wonderful and blessed.  My tears are now tears of joy.

I shed tears of joy because of God’s love.  My spiritual growth in love has made a positive difference in my life and so many others. I am thankful for the daily blessings He provides.

I shed tears of joy because of the love I am able to give to and receive from my husband.  He has been a blessing to me on this journey and continues to bring sunshine into my life.  We continue to grow together in our love of God, ourselves, and others.

I shed tears of joy when I think about my grandson.  He is such a happy child.  I love him for all the love he has brought into my heart and the hearts of others who are a part of his life.

I could go on and on to mention my children, parents, siblings, other family members, friends, the day, the night, haves and have-nots, etc.  The point is that love is all around.  It’s everywhere.  I have so much to be thankful for.  And with all of that, if I must shed tears, I am happy that they are tears of joy.   Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

Funny

Love is funny sometimes. It is presented to you when you don’t expect it, but at a time when you need it most.  It can catch you off guard and put you back on the right track.  After it is all said and done, you just have to laugh at the series of events.  You laugh in a good, kind of funny way.

I recently shared some things that were troubling me with someone near and dear to me.  The next day during church service, the pastor spoke on the exact same topic.  Love is funny like that.  When we send out prayers to resolve our troubles, love uses others to let us know that things are going to be OK.

A new issue came about later in the week.  The very next day, a friend called me out of the blue and shared a similar experience she was going through (without knowing about my situation). The day after that, I heard a radio show host speak on the same topic. We were able to console one another and reaffirm how good love is.

The end of the week brought about a new set of challenges I was faced with.  Then, as I walked into someone’s office, I heard Gospel music playing on the radio.  I was immediately calmed and reassured of how love continues to surround me.  I laughed inside.  Of all the events that took place from Saturday – Friday, within one week’s timeframe, love followed me along the way.  Love made sure that I was aware of its power.  Love repositioned me to think positive about all that is and is yet to be.  Again, love is funny like that sometimes.  Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM
