Hope

It is difficult for me to keep up with the news these days.  While I realize that it is important to remain abreast of what is going on in the world around us, the news today is often times filled with more negative stories than positive.  It becomes saddening to hear bad news over and over and over again; negative words, negative actions, negative images, and negative thoughts.  Then there’s an increase in the number of reality shows filled with negative people, doing negative things, displaying negative activity. 

There is good going on in the world around us all the time. I witness it every day; all around me.  Good things happen.  Positive things happen.  Love happens.  I hear positive stories from positive people.  I witness positive experiences.  I pray for the day when there is a greater appreciation for sharing the good; sharing love; sharing what is right.  I hope that more people begin to realize the love in life itself and are excited about sharing it with others. It is a work in progress and God is not finished with us yet.  The hope that I desire exists in some.  They give of their time and money providing charitable love to those in need.  They give hope to others when there may have been a feeling that there was none.  They provide love to make a positive difference in the lives of others.  I hope that this kind of love continues to grow. I hope for a greater love that is realized, experienced and shared on a more consistent basis. Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM
