Tears of Joy

Tears are secretions that clean and lubricate the eye.  An increased production of tears is often triggered by strong intense emotions.  Such emotions include sadness, grief, anger, remorse, happiness, or laughter.  I have had my share of tears over the years – good and bad.  However, over the past few years, I have noticed that my tears have transitioned into something consistently beautiful, wonderful and blessed.  My tears are now tears of joy.

I shed tears of joy because of God’s love.  My spiritual growth in love has made a positive difference in my life and so many others. I am thankful for the daily blessings He provides.

I shed tears of joy because of the love I am able to give to and receive from my husband.  He has been a blessing to me on this journey and continues to bring sunshine into my life.  We continue to grow together in our love of God, ourselves, and others.

I shed tears of joy when I think about my grandson.  He is such a happy child.  I love him for all the love he has brought into my heart and the hearts of others who are a part of his life.

I could go on and on to mention my children, parents, siblings, other family members, friends, the day, the night, haves and have-nots, etc.  The point is that love is all around.  It’s everywhere.  I have so much to be thankful for.  And with all of that, if I must shed tears, I am happy that they are tears of joy.   Love always. Love daily. 365 Love. TM

Have you told someone you loved them today?  I have. TM
