Patience

Love Yesterday,
"You cannot blame others for what you accept.  You cannot expect anything different than what you accept.  You can only expect what you accept.  It is what it is.  Expect love.  Accept love." --- Torion (1/2/12)

Today,
Sometimes we accept anything, knowing it is not good for us.  We accept these things out of fear.  Fear of being alone.  Fear of hurting someone else even when they are hurting us.  Fear of becoming independent or self-reliant.  Fear of change.  Fear of something new.  We sometimes just conform and learn to truly expect what we accept.  We realize that it is what it is.

Some of the fear is driven by our lack of patience.  We want what we want right now.  We feel that we need it right now.  We don't want to wait for it to come to us.  We don't want to go out and look for it or get it ourselves.  We want it now.  Right now.  And because of our impatience, we settle. The Bible states that love is patient. It suffereth long.  Patience involves waiting for the right time.  Patience involves waiting for the right moment.  It may happen today, tomorrow, a month from now, or a year from now.  But, with patience, it will happen when it is supposed to happen.  We block our blessings settling or accepting because we have no patience.  We get angry and frustrated because we have no patience.  These things are not aligned with love.  Love is patient with us, we must be patient for love in order to receive all that it has to offer.  We must believe and have faith that love will provide on time at all times.  Love always.  Love daily.  365 love.

Have you told someone you loved them today?  I have.

...and Future Tomorrows,
Reflect on your patience, how it changes your mood, and the things you accept or don't accept as a result of it.  Think about how you can improve in this area.  How does your patience effect your kindness?

Love yesterday, today and future tomorrows.  ----Torion
