All This Love

Love Yesterday,

Today,

Today is a new day.  In addition to that, it is love day.  Each and every day is a day to celebrate love.  However, this day is one in which a lot of people make a concentrated effort to show it and share it. And with all this love floating around, I'm sure it is bound to catch up with you.     

I did something different for love day this year.  I spent most of the day supporting the Clayton Senior Citizens first Valentine's Day dance.  It was one of the best Valentine's Day's I have ever had.  I found so much joy in sharing of myself with those who came before me and observing their enjoyment in  fellowshipping with one another.  I laughed, I smiled, I talked, I hugged, and I kissed cheeks. I had all this love around me.  I felt love.  I gave love.  I received love.  It was a reminder of what love has done for me lately.  To see a 99 year old do the electric slide holding a cane, smiling and laughing.  To see the senior men ask the ladies to dance dressed in their flashy suits and top hats.  To see them wobble, wobble, electric slide and slow dance.  To see them shake a tail feather.  To see that "they still got it".  To hear the spoken word and the kind remarks.  To see the volunteers provide support. What a blessing.  That was a true representation of love.  Love always.  Love daily.  365 love.
