Good and Bad

Love Yesterday,

Today,

Love has been with you and will continue to be with you through the good and bad.  I recently lost my step father.  A few months prior to that, I lost my grandmother.  While these two people are close and dear to me.  They are even closer to my mother.  She lost her husband and her mother in such a short period of time.  She is at a place in her life where new and different decisions have to be made.   She is at an age in her life where she has to think differently about things.  And while I have my own personal feelings about this loss, I can only imagine how she must feel. This is a part of the many good and bad experiences we go through in life.  So, what now? 

There is something about a bad situation that you can always count on.  That's the good side of the end result.  Love is always there for you through the good and bad.  Love allows you to see the glass as half full vs. half empty.  Love provides you with family and friends to confirm how much love loves you.  Love comes forward and provides new and improved opportunities, chances, miracles and blessings.  In my mother's situation, family pulled together to help her take care of the business affairs and will continue to do so until she is in a comfortable place.  Some of her initial worries were minimized. Family and friends made phone calls and personal visits to express and show their concern.  They brought food and other items to help out in a variety of different ways.  And regardless of the good and bad in her life, and the life of her companion, my step father, love continued to give love.  In the past, present and future, love continues to love. Today, I extend a personal prayer to my mother and those who have ever lost a loved one. 

God, I know that you love us through our good and bad.  And everything you do has purpose and meaning.  You know what is right for each and every one of us.   You know the right time for each and every one of us. You will never give us more than we can bear.  And all that you do, all that we go through, is meant to bring about positive change.  I pray that your love continues to shine its light on what may appear to be darkness for those in mourning.  I pray that they see the good in what may appear to be a bad situation to realize what love has done for them lately.  I pray that they realize everything is already taken care of.  It's already done.  I pray for healed hearts.  I pray for forgiveness of self and others.  I pray for the ability to move forward.  I pray for a renewed level of strength.  I pray for uplifting.  Most importantly, I pray that it brings them closer to you.  Closer to love. Amen.

Love always.  Love daily.  365 Love.
